so, i'd like to know when i get to say goodbye to her and have it mean "i'll see you in a few days" instead of "i'll see you in a few weeks" or "i'll see you in a few months"...

is it really that much to ask? is it so much to want to be able to see my girlfriend once or twice a week instead of once a month, best case?

so, it seems that i'm going with one post a month? ok... unintentional, but ok.

well, GameStop is pretty sweet. it's a chill environment and everyone's really laid back.

i also have a job working as a TA in the Chem Lab. i start on Wednesday, so we'll see how that goes.

Creation Fest '09

after a crazy week of general insanity, i have come to enlighten the masses (read: two or three people who still use xanga) about the awesomeness that was Creation Fest 2009.

Tuesday:

when the entire afternoon went as planned, we should have known that something would go wrong. that something was one of the cars in our group breaking down. we got to push it from the main entrance to our campsite, which resulted in a closer campsite and making some pretty sweet friends.

Wednesday:

today, Skillet played. they were epic. end of story.

Thursday:

we just kinda chilled for most of today. this band called Reilly put on a pretty sweet set - they were violin rock, and it was awesome. later that day we saw Stellar Kart, who were hilarious. Disciple followed them, and i completely wrecked myself at their show (totally worth it).

Friday:

today was another pretty lazy day, with nothing really going on until 4 pm, when we saw Spoken. they played an awesome show and were worth the wait. later, we saw TFK, who put on a decent, albeit short, set with a few new songs. that night was the candlelight service, and it was beyond breathtaking.

Saturday:

this was the crazy day. it started with Children 18:3's set, after which i got all three members' autographs. next up was The Showdown. i have no words for how insane their set was. i was one person from the front row and rocked my face off when they played. i also got the entire band's autograph after their set. Family Force 5 was our next show, and they were entertaining as always. that night was Kutless and Casting Crowns, both of whom put on good shows.

all in all, a very good week, and even though i hurt everywhere, i haven't felt this good in a while.
